Well,
As I have said in the title, CyberPowerPc seemed like such a ripoff. So with zero experience in building a PC, I am going to try and build my own. I have assembled a list of parts on PCPARTPICKER.com that I think would be great for a Gaming PC build under $2000 CDN. Here is the list:

FYI, I also need that wireless adapter as I am guessing you guys or girls will tell me to use Ethernet. Unfortunately I do not have access to Ethernet as the modem is on another floor.

I will take all the critical feedback or helpful feedback I can get. I am a total noob at this but want to avoid the horrible world of prebuilts. Suggestions on new parts would be awesome if mine aren't optimized as much as possible.

Thanks

Have a question,is sli something you're thinking about? The 750watt psu suggests so.

Have some remarks as well.Get a better psu,for about the same price are there better offers in quality,

the 650watt would already do sli when not overclocking, but linked the more powerfull options anyway.

I would go for an atx motherboard in a case with a window.

kept it around the same price as your choice.

For internet could you also look at powerline adapters if the powergrid in the house is okay,

Does the motherboard come with a shield or do I have to order that separately. I do not plan to SLI but I perfer great safety, thus the high value PSU. I will update my part list at the OP.

Ok I will avoid the x61, for the motherboard I meant a shield that can go around the board. I have seen them before but are they really required? Part list Updated again.

Ok thanks for the info. The desktop will be under my desk though so I won't look at it while using it. Part List Updated
