Which is better 4k or ultra-wide screen monitor?

I´m looking forward to buy a monitor for gaming, I´ll mostly play fps like battlefield. My options are:

Asus PB298Q (Which is an ultra-wide screen with 2k resolution and 5ms response time as well as an IPS panel)
Asus PB287Q (Which is a 4k screen with 1ms response time as well as a TN panel)

What should I go for?

I'd go for the 4k, but that's a personal choice. If you have a pc that can handle it, if not, lower res is better, aka 2k.
