Im just wondering if anyone could recommend a IPS panel, 1920x1080 monitor for under £200. I will be using it with my R9 290 and I5-4460 for gaming so preferably a 5ms or less response time.

Any comments are GREATLY appreciated :)

I dont have any experience with 144mhz computer so I cannot really recommend them, but Tomshardware seems to love this one:

And its the lest expensive you can find, at least on partpicker

Seems to be better than this folowing asus that cost 60£ more:

Would my R9 290 be able to keep up with the 144Hz refresh rate? by the way, I'd rather get a IPS just because they generally look better.

It's the Maximum refresh rate, you can set it lower if you need/want...

Look better in what sense? You might want to try looking at it at some computer store to compare, though...

I've heard that most IPS panels have richer colors and stuff like that?

You should look and evaluate yourself..you're the one who will have to use it for many years...
But i think that notion was valid some years ago when LED technology was new and expensive...

What about a 144Hz monitor? I believe that I will be able to run skyrim (a game which i plan to play often) with high-res texture packs at a minimum of 100 FPS. Should I get a 60Hz IPS or a 144Hz TN?

The LG 24GM77 looks like the thing for me :). I'm either going to go for that or a 27" IPS but the 144Hz on that one does look appealing.
