What processor has best value for money for video editing: Intel Core i5-4460 or AMD FX 8320 (OC'd to 4.5GHz) or an Intel Core i7-4790?

I'd say the i7 4790K is a good choice.

The i7 4790K is very good at gaming too. I have the CPU and I can max every game out.

8350 if you are at a budget, catches up to the i7 in nearly all threaded workloads.

The Xeon 1231 V3 is also an option.

Personally I would go with a AMD-Fx 8320 with a CPU cooler. In my opinion I would not go with a i7 CPU for video editing i7 is complete over kill. You can Probably get this CPU for 100$ less than an i5 CPU. All though if you going with Intel try not to go with a i7, i5 can do almost just as much as it and it is 100$ cheaper than a i7.
