Hi, I got my PC in June 2013, i5 4670k etc. At the time I bought a 21.5 inch Acer H226HQL monitor which I believe is IPS. It is really good, great colours and I don't think I notice the lag. I was going to save up for the Asus VG248QE, but I decided my 760 may not be able to do 144hz, so I might not get a 1440p, 2160p or 144hz monitor. So I thought since I want a dual monitor setup at the moment I am looking for a 1080p 22inch or 24 inch panel between £100-150 I would like the bezel to be thin. I use my computer/monitors for general purpose, web browsing, word processing, programming, gaming, virtualbox, youtube. I am unsure if there are any of monitor features I need to look out for, I am also unsure whether to get another IPS or TN panel. I am leaning towards a TN panel as I already have a IPS one. I would like input lag to be lower than 5ms I guess.

Would you suggest I look for a 1080p monitor now or wait for a few months and get a higher speced monitor or wait for a year or so until I upgrade my GPU?

Thanks! If you need any more info, please ask.

Solution

+1; The ASUS VE247H is definitely a great monitor for the price!
