I'm looking for a 1080p monitor that's good for everyday use and easy on the eyes. The colors should also look nice while gaming and watching HD videos. I don't wanna spend more than $250.

I currently use a Benq G925HDA which is 18.5 inch in size and has a resolution of 1366x768p. I use my PC for 6-8 hours everyday and I suffer from eye strain. Will 1080p be easier on the eyes compared to 768p?

Thanks.

Theres this monitor which is 24" @1080P but it is also 144hz which will make fast gameplay/movie scenes look alot clearer which may (or may not) help with your eye strain. Im not sure if upgrading to 1080P will be any easier on your eyes, you may want to look into sitting a little bit farther back and using lubricating eye drops and/or tinted glasses to reduce glare. The larger screen should help.

Do you want VESA compatibility? I have some higher end monitors but for 1080p I love my Acer H236HLBID monitors. They have great color, are IPS, good response time, and are slim with not much bezel. I use three of them for surround on one of my gaming machines. They are a cheaper monitor so there are some drawbacks such as no VESA mounting, and the stands leave a bit to be desired (have had no problems with them). It would be nice if the stands had more adjustment than just tilt. There is no pivot or height adjustment so this may not work for you.

These go on sale quite a bit. I picked up all of mine for $130 each.
