benq 60hz monitor compared to the 144hz model

exactly what the title says is there gonna be a 200 dollar difference between 60hz and 144hz and also the 144 comes with g sync but i have a amd graphics card so is it worth it

Well, G-Sync doesn't work with AMD cards and secondly, you need a video card that can push 144 FPS to see 144Hz on that monitor. If you already have the GPU for the job, then yeah, it might be worth it to jump to a 144Hz Free-Sync/Adaptive Sync display. if you video card can only push 60 FPS, buying a 144Hz monitor won't do you any good.

wait so is adaptive sync the same as free sync? if not should i just go with the cheaper model or another brand?

Adaptive Sync is the standard that the Display Port cable is supposed to adopt but yeah, it is AMD's Free-Sync.

just bought the other monitor but no biggie cause it was a extra 200 dollars for free sync and 144 hz im okay with that
