Help choosing monitors for dual set-up

So I'm trying to pick a monitor for my dual set-up. I will be using them for gaming on both pc and consoles. I have been looking at the ASUS VN248H-P, but I'm not sure if it's good for gaming or not, which I have been playing on a 19in insignia tv so I think anything I upgrade to will be an improvement. Does anybody have any suggestions. My budget per monitor is between 150-250.

also the asus you listed is ok but there are alot better for its price

I'm looking for anything from about 24 inches to 27 inches. It can be a little less than 24 as well. Newegg has this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009720 on sale right now for 149.99 does anybody know what the input lag on it is?
