I'm looking to upgrade to a Ultrawide 21:9 monitor, like the Samsung S34E790C maybe.
My build is a few years old, and it was only built for casual everyday use. I not very knowledgable about building high-performance computers, but I can throw compatible parts together. I'm currently running on a Sony 32" 1080p TV as my monitor, but it is quite old from like 2008-2009 so it is very inferior to the LED screens that we have today.
My build:
ASUS P8H67-M EVO Motherboard
Intel Core i7-2600
Corsair XMS3 DDR3 8GB (2 x 4GB)
OCZ ModxStream 600W Power Supply
Samsung EVO 250GB SSD
Windows 8.1 Pro
NO GRAPHICS CARD!!
I need to know if I can even run beyond 1080p on this computer, and if I could add/improve build to run the following:
Samsung S34E790C
3440X1440 4ms (GTG) 4K
Mega Dynamic Contrast Ratio 3000 : 1
1X Display Port, 2XHDMI
4X USB Hub 3.0
Or do I need to build a new rig from scratch to even hope to run such a monitor?
