Hi,

I have a BENQ monitor which supports 144hz. (If needed I'll provide model name)

I can't change it on windows, the max is 60hz. I'm using Dual Link DVI-D cable.

(I have 2 monitors running extended desktop, by the way.)

I tried installing all BENQ drivers, but still nothing. I tried using AMD Catalyst, but still nothing.

Please, help me. :(

For 1080p @ 144hz, dual link and displayport are the only two options. HDMI 1.x has less bandwidth than the previously mentioned options.

I have had it happen once, but if there is a damaged pin or wire in a dual link dvi cable, it will act like a single link and limit you to 60hz.

But honestly get a Displayport cable, they are the best! (and the highest bandwidth... 1440p @ 144hz with DP 1.2)
