I wanna make a pc that cost almost as much as a ps4 and can kind of run ps4 graphic like games (Shadow of Modor, Arkham Knight and maybe the new Xcom 2 at medium,). I got somebody that is willing to sell his (like new) xfx 6850 to me for $60, dont worry I plan on upgrading to a much better one in the future if Im happy with this build. I already have a good idea of what I want inside but I would like some suggestions before I start trying to build something.

- I plan on running my games at 720p/30fps (of course 60fps would be great but I dont want it to be expensive)
-I already have my eyes on a xfx 6850 1 ggdr5 graphics card and from the benchmark I saw, it's not too shabby

My first build goes like this

case: Rosewill galaxy-01
mobo: MSI 760GMA-P34(FX) AM3+
power supply: EVGA 100-W1-500-KR 500W ATX12V / EPS12V 80 PLUS
Ram: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333
Cpu:AMD FX-4350 Vishera Quad-Core 4.2GHz Socket AM3+ 125W
cooler for cpu: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Graphics card: XFX HD-685X-ZNFC Radeon HD 6850 1GB 256-Bit GDDR5
Hard drive: whatever is the cheapest.

Ok so this might be my first build, but this doesnt mean that I wanna build a new pc every 2 years or so. I want this build to still be kinda future proof. I want my build to be upgradable for the future and not build something that I would need to throw away 2 years later because the cpu is outdated or the mobo cant handle new cards.

I know I dont have the best cpu, thats why I feel like the mobo is really important for when I'm ready (maybe in 2 years) to build something better, I can just start by replacing the old cpu with a new Amd one.

By the way, I live in Canada so I'm limited to newegg.ca, amazon.ca, etc...

Edit: I just found this cpu for about the same price: fx-6300 3.5 ghz 6 core. Is it any better than the fx-4350?

Hmm....you're right.
Scratch that then, the MSI is good.

It would be best if you could find an AMD 970 motherboard, but they are pretty much full ATX size and wouldn't fit in that Rosewill Galaxy-01. Not to mention they are mostly 30-40$ more expensive.

EDIT: yes, the FX-6300 is better than the FX-4350. not only does it have lower tdp, but it's overally more powerful.
FX-4350 has higher clock speed as stock but a lot games already can use more than 4 cores (usually up to 6-cores, 8-cores is still highly unutilized for now).

This is the best build I can make. You're getting a 6-Core GPU that is the most upgradable AMD chip out right now (Intels are too expensive for this budget), a very capable GPU in the 750ti, especially on a 720p screen and 1TB hard drive and 8GB of RAM.

I dont need an os since I have a windows 7 ultimate waiting to be use, and his build is quite appealing, but unfortunately I dont live in the U.S. so most of the stuff he put are quite expensive here in Canada especially the gtx 750ti

You can take his build otherwise, but change RAM if the G.Skill is cheaper. Also take that HD6850 from your friend/whoever.

Then save up for gpu upgrade.
