Hi!
It's time to upgrade my old phenom since i cant play new games.
I was thinking about 4690k but its expensive - high current dolar value.
What do you think about sandybridge, benchmarks shows that 4690@4.0ghz = sandy @4,5. Secondhand 2500k costs about 600PLN when new haswell about 1000 PLN (160$ to 270$ at 3,73PLN per $).
So at a cost of a i5 4690k i can buy 2500k+mobo and save about 100$(1150 mobo cost) - then i cant sell old parts and get gtx960 or something like that. I already have cooler and good psu.
But again - Is 2500k enough for playing in 2015 and then 2016? Or i should wait month or two to get 4690k? Is it worth extra $?
Skylake is unfortunately not an option (for my budget)- it will be overpriced as all new cpu was, and waiting till January-February for better prices is too long for me.
