Hello again,

I had recently had much help choosing a new monitor for my family but I'm now looking for a gaming monitor for myself.

Here are my criteria

1)27inch or more

2)144hz]

3) low ms response time

4) Possible free-sync g-sync? (I have a gtx 650)

5) Ability to be used as a TV

6) Using my current monitor dell u2312hm in dual screen with the new display.

7) Bugteg +-50 is between 150/300 pounds

8) Available in the EU or with worldwide shipping.

9) I enjoy watching movies and tv shows (perhaps 50% of my computer use), should I invest in a display with IPS or is TN just the way to go for gaming?

My personal concern is that my computer is not powerful enough to run new games on a higher display resolution than 1920. On the other side I would love to upgrade beyond it.

My current computer (possible upgrades incoming).

Window 7
ACPI x64
Intel i5-2310 @ 2.90GHz
GTX 650
Hd St1000DM003 ATA
Current monitor U2312HM

As you can see my graphic card is quite old and I don't even have an i7. Would it be wise to stick to 1920 27inch or could I go for a 2560? Are there other things I should think about? What about 4k 28inch for gaming?

Anyway so far this is my list (very incomplete).

QX2710
Asus VG278HE
Samsung U28D590D (not sure about this one)

I would really like any and all help you can provide, as you can guess by the way I write I know very little about displays and frankly I got lucky last time buying a great one (dell u2312hm). Thank you all. Sorry if I made any mistake, english is my second language.

I need to know what games you aim to play. 144hz is very demanding, and with G-Sync, too demanding for that gpu. That's by standard, kind of old, and should be replaced with a GTX 960, or something else u like.

If you're playing games like TF2, your rig is just about right for that w/ 1440p.
