What games support 4k?

I would like to ask if i would have a 4k monitor + great hardware for it
What games would i be able to play?

I know new games like witcher 3 can play in 4k but i want to play witcher 1-2 before i start 3
But i doubt the witcher 1 support 4k
I would like to ask what are the first games to support 4k?
Games from 2009 or 2012?
(Im interested in very old titles too if they would support like sw battlefront 1)

A big bunch of them support 4k. In reality, many games just report the setting of your display and adapt to it.

Usually, only console port to PC games can be problematic. I know Mortal Kombat doesn't support 4k with my monitor...

So basically, if the port to PC is bad, chances are that 4k is not going to be available. For any games made by valve or other, you should have no problem.

Witcher 2 support 4k, however the depth of field setting needs to be deactivated. It literally destroy performances at 4k.

How about older games like far cry 1 or star wars battlefront 1 half life 2?
I think most games are console ports to pc isnt it?
