Hi all

I'm somewhat of a newbie when it comes to gaming pc's, but I've tried to compile a list of parts to build my first gaming pc, for under £700. A mate of mine offered to source the parts and build it for me, but I reckon that I could get better value for money if I did it myself. I'd much appreciate it if you could let me know if the parts I've chosen are any good and if I need to make any changes and why, but remember I'm on a tight budget so try not to make any changes too expensive.

Asus Z87-Plus Motherboard (Socket 1150, 4x DDR3, ATX, 2x PCI Express 3.0/2.0, 6x SATA 6.0 Gb/s, USB 3.0, Intel Z87 Express Chipset, Haswell, Dual Intelligent Processors 4 with 4-Way Optimization)

Antec High Current Gamer HCG-750M - Power supply ( internal ) - ATX12V 2.32/ EPS12V 2.92 - 80 PLUS Bronze - AC 100-240 V - 750 Watt - active PFC - Europe(0-761345-06222-0)

Intel Core i5-4690K Devil's Canyon Quad-Core 3.5GHz LGA 1150 BX80646I54690K Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4600

Crucial BLS2CP4G3D1609DS1S00CEU Sport 8GB Kit (4GBx2), Ballistix 240-pin DIMM, DDR3 PC3-12800 Memory Module

Asus DVD-RW Bulk Drive (DRW-24F1ST, S-ATA, DVDR: 24x, CD-R: 48x, E-Green, Disc Encryption II)

ZALMAN Z11 Plus Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

GIGABYTE GV-N960WF2OC-2GD GeForce GTX 960 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready ATX Video Card

Also I would really appreciate it if you could let me know whether I could run Cities Skylines and BeamNG in relatively good quality with at least 30-40FPS.

Many Thanks

Just tried it and most products ended up coming out more expensive. But that's not much of an issue, it's whether what i've chosen works together, and would I need such a powerful power pack or could I downgrade:

Antec HCG M Series HCG-520M 520W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply - Intel Haswell Fully Compatible

which is the best part of £50 cheaper?

Admirable
This build would give you a much better experience in gaming, with a better GPU, as well as motherboard and a reliable PSU.
