So narrowed it down to these 3.

I play games like witcher 3/batman/far cry/crysis/shadow of mordor/dragon age/skyrim etc

Budget - £150

Main thing I am not sure about is if it is worth getting an IPS monitor in my price range, as it might not be a good quality IPS monitor - Anyone shed any light on this please?

Please state the order you would buy them in.

For just gaming?

BenQ, then ASUS, then AOC.

None of those are bad monitors. I happen to like BenQ & ASUS though so there's a bit a bias in my answer. My personal opinion is it's better to get a good VA/TN monitor than it is to get a cheap IPS monitor.

The ASUS and AOC will look nicer color wise, but the BenQ will be all around better for gaming. If you don't do any color work, and don't really care about colors all that much, I would go with an exclusive gaming monitor like the BenQ. I have them as accessory monitors to my ROG Swift and the colors are just fine on them, movies and browsing the internet included.
