This may be a really ridiculous question, but I have run a 25 ft HDMI from my PC to my 55" Panasonic plasma for gaming. I was trying to use a splitter (http://www.amazon.com/Kinivo-501BN-Premium-wireless-adapter/dp/B0049SCB2Y) which is the same model I use for my consoles and it works great. I couldn't get it working here though. I wanted to be able to easily switch between TV and monitor without having to physically unplug the cables, so if anyone can offer me help with this, I'd greatly appreciate it!
Temporarily, I plugged my TV directly into the PC and it worked so for now I'm okay with plugging/unplugging, but when I plug the HDMI cable from my monitor back into the PC, it will no longer detect the display. When I plug my monitor back into my PC, there's no way for me to go into display settings to switch it back because I have no display to view it on. I feel like I'm missing something really silly, but any help would be great!!!
