Hello, I'm new here,
In Windows 8 my screen resolution looked perfect (i.e. 1980 x 1080) but after I updated my OS to Windows 8.1 it doesn't even detect the right screen resolution http://imgur.com/RMKo2OB (it shows 1280 x 1024 as recommended when my monitor is 1920 x 1080) and here are the resolutions it lets me select http://imgur.com/KToWLFK (the first four I got them after installing Custom Resolution Utility (CRU) but I didn't find my resolution in it) this is what I did in CRU http://imgur.com/vNVVtv8
PLEASE HELP!
Update: also it won't detect my monitor too http://imgur.com/dl22mgS it shows that weird message even though I've installed and updated all my drivers and also did the power cycling many times.
