picture is too large to fit the screen

The picture on my Samsung LCD suddenly became magnified, so that it is cut off on sides and top/bottom. Both the tv and set top box are set at 16:9

theres 4 buttons at the bottom of the samsung remote. One of them sets the picture or zoom setting if i remember right.
