Hi all.
I am wanting to upgrade my current monitor from an older Hannspree 20inch TFT LCD 1600x900 60Hz i salvaged from an older system when i did my first gaming build. I started with a Pentium G3258 so I didn't even bother finding a better display at the time. I have since upgraded to the i5-4690k so i want to try and get the most out of my vid card. Here is my current build:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core (OC to 4.5GHz)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97-HD3 ATX LGA1150
Memory: G.Skill Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal HD
Video Card: MSI Radeon R9 270 2GB TWIN FROZR
Case: Cougar Solution (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Rosewill Hive 550W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 OEM (64-bit)

I am trying to choose between these 2 displays since they are both on decent sale and for the same amount until the end of the weekend. Or any other comparable monitors (i am open to other suggestions)

I am not up on the best types of screens to use but i don't do any Fps games that need fast lag times. I do mostly RPG and indie games with the highest settings i can.

Thanks for any help anyone has.
