Just built my Pc today and it wont boot up on monitor PLS HELP

So i built this pc today http://pcpartpicker.com/p/tRVJWZ but the case is a Xion 101 and i got everything in. All the fans work. All the lights work. The dvd drive works but i cant get it to show up on the monitor when i plug it in? Any ideas?

Are all the PCI-E cables correctly inserted in to the GPU ? Is the GPU correctly inserted into the PCI-E slot ?

Look at the sticker on the mobo. What are the last four numbers on this sticker?

On these it's one long sticker. Its got a few things on it, the last lot of numbers is the BIOS thats on it

The same thing maybe on the mobo box

On this mobo the sticker is at the top (this is when the mobo is installed in the case)

Its 4 numbers that mobo needs BIOS 1006 to support that CPU.

Is there anything like this on the sticker youre looking at?

251118-02747-MB01Q0-A01 0331. The 0331 is the BIOS version that was shipped with my ASUS mobo

Its not etched on the mobo. It's on a sticker

It looks like that videocard has DVI x2 and mini HDMI.

If you're using VGA, you're using some kind of adapter right?? If you are, and if those DVI connections are DVI-D.

VGA and DVI-D arent compatible with each other. Because VGA is analog and DVI-D is digital

You'll have to buy an active / passive VGA/DVI adapter. or buy a monitor with DVI or HDMI on it

It looks like DVI-I should work. BUT the resolution maybe too high if the monitor has only got a VGA connection

so i used to dvi to hdmi adapter to a mini hdmi and then the monitor went from a color test screen to a black screen

If the monitor has DVI or HDMI use a DVI / HDMI cable. You dont need adapters
