Additional Comments:
I would like to play and stream games like World of Warcraft, Team Fortress 2, Diablo 3, CounterStrike: GO, League of Legends, Gary's Mod, Bethesda Games (Fallout 3, Skyrim), Battlefield and future games like Star Wars: Battlefront and Fallout 4 at pretty good FPS. I was hoping this build would can the job done with my budget.

Need some last minute opinions/thoughts before I finalize the build. I have had a lot of people want to swap the i5 for FX-6200 or Fx-8320, but I really want to stick with the intel. Was also on the fence with going with an R9 270x vs the R9 280. Was also considering a 120gb SSD for an extra ~$70, but I don't want to push the budget too high. Buying completely from newegg, the build comes out to around $602 which might be worth it so that everything comes from one merchant. Thanks guys!

Admirable
if you insist on sticking with intel then this is what i have for you http://pcpartpicker.com/p/JXj3Q7

aftermarket heatsink because stock intel coolers really do suck and will kill your cpu

a better motherboard for just 20$ more, shouldn't cheap out too much on mobo

dual channel 1866mhz cas latency 9 RAM

Worlds better power supply for the money, it is a tier 1 PSU

No upgrade path in terms RAM if you get a 2x4GB kit. No support for Broadwell CPUs, it's a overall worse board in terms of reliability, and it only has a 2nd Gen PCI Express slot opposed to the 3rd gen most modern boards are using. Although there may be not that big of a performance hit at all it is still something. There is more.
