DIY "hacking" items/projects

OK before a mod takes down my thread I'm not actually asking about hacking, I just couldn't find a better word. Does anyone know of like good kinda "spy gadgets" to use in school or similar places? An example is I saw you can get a phone cord and strip the wires and put them all together and plug it in and it jams the whole system of phones . Anyways, things like that, thanks!

Well, yes, you are talking about 'hacking'.
Hacking is much more than just software.

Taking down the phone system at school? Hacking
Spy gadgets? Probably illegal.

So yeah, we're going to close this anyway.
