Hey guys, so today I was using my computer when the power randomly decided to go out. I go to turn my computer back on, and realize one of my monitors won't come on. The computer is still reading the monitor, so I know that it is completely fine - so I checked the power cord. The power "brick" (I guess you would call it) shorted out, even though it was plugged into a surge protector. My question for you guys is - is there any way to fix this? I mean, I'll pay the $16 to get a new one if need be, but if there is some way to fix this it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Yup, I've tried it with a different cord. Everything works fine. My friend has the same power brick that he doesn't use, so I'll just go grab that.

I mean I would, but just found another one for free. Either way, thanks for the answer. That's what I was planning on doing anyways.
