Case/Mobo May Not Fit 280mm Top Radiator?

I've been wanting to try my first water cooling build, and I'm pretty familiar with it now to give it a shot. The thing is, my case is a decent sized mid tower, with two 140mm fan slots and a decent gap between the top and mobo for a good radiator+fan fit.

The radiator is 30mm thick (slim version) and the 2 fans (140mm) I bought are 25mm thick. So the combined 55mm came out to 2.16 inches, which seems pretty small. So I cut a piece of paper that was 2.16 inches long and measured the distance from the top of the case to the end of the paper to see how much room I had. It's a snug fit (expected) but my RAM slot levers are in the way entirely. I'm almost certain that the fan mounted to the rad would interfere with it. If my mobo wall wasn't extended into the center, it would probably just sit next to the RAM levers.

I'm only asking to make sure because I've seen some tiny mid towers with a top rad thicker than mine fit. Am I just not seeing this the right way or something? I hope you can understand what I mean. I'll provide some in-the-case pictures for a better example.

Clothes pin is to hold the paper since my hand wouldn't fit. Disregard other fans in the picture. And yes, the paper does start above the top fan.

Yeah the EPS just may be in the way, but the fan header is fine. I didn't even notice that to be honest. Might have to settle with moving the rad to the front :( I really wanted a top rad considering the tubing layout I had planned... I'm gonna have to take out my HDD cage and put it there, and figure out a different reservoir location. Which really sucks because I was going to mount my res above the HDD cage and put the pump in the cage (HDD is in top slot). Damnnnn what a buzzkill. Putting the rad in the front is also going to obscure some of the tubing, which also sucks because I'm pretty big on aesthetics.
