Hey Guys. i got a brand new monitor with only 2 HDMI ports
I use R9 290 graphic card ( 1 HDMI 1 DVI 1 DP )
I connect my HDTV to my hdmi slot and i wanted to connect my monitor to my display port via HDMI to display port cable.
that didnt work for some reason so i ordered HDMI female to DVI male

Will that work with a HDMI cable so i can keep connecting both TV and monitor to my PC?
i dont want to wait and find out its not working aswell
