Hello,

Only my second ever build. It's for my boss. He's given is approval on it as is, just collecting last minute opinions.

The work will be done is the easy stuff like Office programs, Outlook, internet, etc....the more heavy stuff that this is built for would be 3D modeling, drafting, raytrace rendering, and large format drawings we create and edit daily. I've checked specs on the software, and this seems to align with what will work best in a compromise between budget vs performance.

The reason for 2 video cards is this will have to power a minimum of 4 monitors, but likely 5.

What's your thoughts? Can't go much more expensive than what's here.

For the kind of work you are doing use a Quaddro or firepro graphics card . Or a Titan
Models should be available with enough monitor connectors that you only need one card . That will be simpler and more stable with easier driver support

I would also tend to want to use a quieter case for an office space . The Fractal design R5 perhaps

Thanks Outlander. I'll run the options by him and see what he wants. I looked at the Titan cards initially but wasn't sure with cost. I agree with your assessment here.

Good news on the case is this build is for his home office. He likes the case and it looks like his old one. Thank you!
