best size monitor for gaming?

I'm trying to buy a monitor and I can't decide whether to get a 22" or 24" and what monitor is better Asus or Acer ?

24in is the current mainstream size. I prefer Asus monitors. Exactly which depends on your budget.

It all depends on your budget and how far away from your screen you are. I personally use a 32 inch and I sit about 3-4 feet away from it. It may be excessively large for some though lol even for me it was kinda big at first then I got used to it. But anyways screen size isn't the only important factor though. Screen resolution, response times, and display type (ips or tn for example) are just as or even more important.
