My current pc is as follows;

i5 3570K
4gb XMS3 DDR3 RAM
AMD HD7850 GPU
600W ModxStream Pro PSU
1TB WD HDD
Asus p8z77-v lx

I have had this pc or about 3 years now and it has served me well for what i play. I'm not too stuck up on pushing the highest frames i just require that my games run smoothly on medium settings at 1980x1080. I primarily play league of legends and stream that too and the pc has been ok for that.

Recently bumped into an ad for the following pc used at 330 quid;

gtx 690
corsair 380t
corsair h100i
corsair CX600M
gigabyte h97n-wifi
core i7 4790
12gb of RAM
2tb WD HDD

Being a university student im still skint but i know a deal when i see one (albeit this one seems a bit too good to be true). Anyways, my thoughts were on whether any of you would say i should go ahead and upgrade or better yet mix and match parts, say upgrade my current rigs ram and gpu and keep the same cpu.

I have a younger sister who is 13 years old and i figured my old parts would make a great home pc for her to play Sims 4 and do homework etc on (mini atx form factor and all)?

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

The 690 is a dual gpu card so if a game does not support sli at launch the card will not run to its full capacity. The 690 is basically 2 670s in sli so it is a major improvement to your current 7850. The 4790 is a decent upgrade and the h100i will keep it cool. 12gb of ram seems weird but all in all it looks good I personally would change the psu to a better one and one that is atleast 750 watts because 690 draws alot of power
