Why isn't Tom's hardware accepting my password

I am 100% sure I am typing my correct password in yet it doesn't accept it.Try with my username, NOPE.Try wwith my email address, NOPE.Try some other passwords,NOPE.The only way I can log in is through my Facebook and Google+.And the password for those is the same.

I'm not certain, but I believe that if you created the account with your facebook account, you need to log in with your facebook account. Facebook doesn't give us your password.

Don't know, though. I didn't write it and tend not to use social media logins.

agreed, an email verified account and a facebook account go through the system in different ways and are not cross compatible.

if you want to sign in with an email address, sign up for an email address based account. your type of account may be able to be modified by the devs or staff though you might want to ask our community rep titillating about it.

Sometimes I get logged off automatically and the UK logon page just will not accept my password. It normally works if I go to the US logon page instead. Annoying, but not the end of the world.
