Would my LCD TV work as PC Monitor?

Hi Guys.My Monitor could only support resolution upto 1280x1024 so i thought if i connect my LCD TV with my PC.Is that Possible at all?and if i could how much resolution would i get?
I am getting a GTX 750ti with Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83 GHz , 8 GB DDR2 , 1 TB HDD AND 750 Watts PSU
I've got a Sony Bravia 32" LCD

If your TV has a vga, HDMI on the back you are set. they are fine for gaming and pc use. In fact, I use my JVC 32' TV as my main monitor and as I type this. I do a lot of gaming and I can tell you that a 32 inch is mighty fine compared to 20-ish inch monitor. supposedly you tv is 720p, but it can support up to a max of 1080p most likely. Best way to use your tv is through HDMI input.
