I had the HansG 27 inch monitor "HG281D", and it was working great. Then it would not turn on any more when pushing the power button, which to me sounds like the power board had a few bad Capacitors.

I am now looking for a new one to replace it, and was looking for some suggestions. I am after a 27 inch monitor for doing some photoshop, graphic work, webdesign, watching movies and surfing the web, etc. I am trying to stay between $300 - $400.

So far I have found these monitors below from Samsung and LG.

Samsung:
Model #: LS27D390HSY/ZA
Model: S27D590P
Model: S27D590C
Model: 29UM57-P
Model: S27E390H
Model: S27E591C

LG:
Model: GCRF 27MP65HQ-P
27MP67HQ

Thanks

I can not find the LG monitor you suggested anywhere. So none of the Samsung monitors are any good? I was looking at this one on my short list "S27E390H".

Thanks

You do not live in US? I assumed it because you speak of dollars.

The samsungs are fine, I suggest the s27e360h because its white bezel vastly increases the perceived black depth.
I still prefer the Dell because of its glossy coating, but otherwise the Samsung is perfectly fine.

Yes in the US. I read reviews on both and seem to be close in comparison and the Samsung Looks like more people bought and review Samsung then Dell from searching a few sites. Never owned a Dell. Looks like both are close it price also so what is the biggest noticeable difference between the two?
