Hi there folks, as the description says I'm looking for a 27" 1440p monitor, Unfortunately I can't splash out enough money to buy a G-sync display so I was looking for recommendations in my price range of £250-£350 (or your regional equivelant). Any help is much appreciated, Thanks :)

Compared to the LG, the GW2765HT has a frame of input lag, a perceived black depth ruining glossy black bezel, worse colour presets, no hardware calibration and slower pixel response times. The Dell U2515H has slightly worse colour presets and has an inner black bezel which ruins the perceived black depth since it is not actually frame-less. As a result, BenQ is a bad deal, no need to talk it further. Given the price of the Dell, the Dell is a good deal, but it has the shortcomings I mentioned above and 25" is a bit small for 1440p.

My opinion is that because you buy a monitor aiming to keep it a full decade, buy the best you can afford. In this case, the LG it is.

Sorry mate, buying such a cheap but good 27" is only possible if you opt for a Korean one, which can be great monitors, but can only be bought from e-bay, so you should mind the custom taxes and the warranty included.
Here is a really good one, it is overclock-able too, usually up to 120Hz: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Perfect-Pixel-Crossover-2795QHD-AH-IPS-75Hz-DVI-D-2560-x-1440-27-LED-Monitor-/151591480816?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item234b8e6df0
Otherwise, this is it: https://www.senetic.co.uk/product/27MB85R-B
It is not so far out of budget though, so it is actually a valid choice.

Both are flicker free and have great color presets, image quality and responsiveness.

Thanks for chipping in :) I had looked at korean import monitors but honestly I just dont want the grief of having to return something so far away. I did actually come across two options myself , would you recommend them,
http://www.amazon.co.uk/BenQ-GW2765HT-LED--inch-Monitor/dp/B00M913DVG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1436655106&sr=8-1&keywords=benq+1440p

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Dell-U2515H-25-Inch-Monitor-2560/dp/B00P6O3YYO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1436886974&sr=8-1&keywords=dell+u2515h

The dell is smaller than I'd like but it has a good reputation.

If it is the shop that you cannot / do not want to deal with, the next best choice is this Asus: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B00LGE29SK?SubscriptionId=AKIAIXNYVO2SJEYIT5VA&tag=geizhals-am-21&linkCode=xm2&camp=2025&creative=12734&creativeASIN=B00LGE29SK
It is also flicker-free, has excellent input lag and response times, but has slightly worse color presets than the LG that cannot be fixed through OSD.
