Education about PC Components

I'm looking to expand my knowledge of Computer Technologies and was looking for a good educational website to start. I'm really interested in learning why we need this or that in Graphics cards or why SLI or more than one GPU helps. Why more socket connectors means more efficiency or what a socket connector even is or what it actually does, helpful things to know!
