My first computer build, need tips

Alright so I've never built a computer before but I have a friend who is in college for computer science, but here are my parts I'm getting. My budget is 700$.

Graphics card: EVGA GeForce GT 740 DDR3 superclocked

RAM: Kingston HyperX FURY 8Gb (2x4GB) 1866MHz DDR3 CL10

CPU: Intel core i5 4460 LGA

Motherboard: Msi ATX DDR3 2600 LGA 1150
That is all I have so far and I'm open to suggestions. I would like to run BF4 for example, at 1080p flawlessly. Please remember I'm really new at this.

I'm not sure you have the right parts for what you want to do, so let me help you.

Where are you from? Do you want to overclock? What monitor do you have/ plan to buy? Do you need an OS or monitor to be included in your $700 budget?

I'm from alabama, and I'm not really sure about overclocking. Will it make the computer insanely faster? I didn't think about monitor so I guess I'll need that into the budget. I already have a windows 7 install disc.
