Should I use my PS4 and PC on one monitor or just use my old one as well as my new one?

I'm going to be buying a new monitor soon and I was wondering if I should use the new one for both my PC and PS4 or just use my old one for my PS4 and the new one for my PC.

Old monitor: Acer S220HQL 21.5 inch 5ms VGA DVI (I couldn't find the exact model.)

Should I use both on my new one with the HDMI ports or use my old one for my PS4 and my new one for my PC?

P.S. I use both my PS4 and PC for gaming because my friends have a PS4 and only have office PC'S while I have a gaming one.
