4k 28 ich ips vs 24 inch tn

Hi, i've been trying to decide on which monitor I should get for my new 980 ti. I have done research and found that these two monitors fit my standards- 24"ips: http://www.acer.co.uk/ac/en/GB/content/model/UM.UV6EE.001 and 27" tn : https://www.asus.com/uk/Monitors/PB287Q/ The problem is that i can only choose one of them and I can't decide which one.

A TN even after calibrated, can never look as good as an IPS. It's a limitation of the TN technology. Modern IPS monitors (Samsung calls it PLS) are simply fast enough in terms of response times and input delay that they are perfect options even for competetive gaming.

If you are looking at a different picture format (not 16:9), then you're going to have to change the ratio yourself.

The thing is that the asus one supports 10 bit colours and also loads of different panel features to make the image look better with different modes also. I am looking for one that's optimised for gaming and the asus one is made for gaming and the acer one is for basic use. it's just the ips panel started playing around with my decision.
