First Time Changing CPUs

Hello guys this is my first time changing my own CPU, and i looked up some thread also some says it needs to update the BIO after changing the CPU and some says you don't have to if is already support it?

so i was wondering how do i know if it supports it or not?
i have the
ASRock MB-Z68X4G3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 extreme4
My Current CPU is the Intel I5 2500k

i want to upgrade to the Intel I7 4790k
so if anyone knows if i need to update my BIO or i should be fine just put it right in?

The 4790k requires a new 1150 socket motherboard, it will NOT work in your current motherboard.

It's a good CPU, if you have an aftermarket cooler you could maybe try overclocking it.
