A few weeks ago my computer started Blue screening. ( bccode 124 and locale id 2057). I read endless forum posts, and narrowed down the problem to the CPU. I did this by reinstalling windows 7 and then managed to borrow a spare CPU and mobo from a friend, and then removing components one by one and seeing if the BSOD still occurred. At the moment, the system is working with a fx4300 instead of the original fx6300 (every other component remained the same), and the system was never overclocked.
So today I had the mobo my friend had given me, and my "broken" fx 6300 lying around. i assembled it together into a PC (for fun) then installed Lubuntu 15.04 and the system with the "broken" CPU works flawlessly. I have no idea why the same CPU causes a BSOD when running windows, but on Linux runs fine?

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

ALSO I just need to add, that i have tested all the other components and it definitely was the CPU causing the errors not psu, ram, hdd, mobo or gpu
