Hi, this is my first time building a pc and im wondering if the parts are compatible (I've watched some guides on youtube and everything seems so detailed, I don't wanna buy a motherboard that doesn't fit the case or something.) By the way, I've already bought only the CPU and im thinking of buying the motherboard in the next week

Case: Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-01 Mid Tower Gaming Case CC-9011050-WW

CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 LGA 1150 CPU

GPU: ASUS Graphics Cards STRIX-GTX960-DC2OC-4GD5(4GB)

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR3 1600 MHz PC3 12800 240-Pin DDR3 Dual Channel Memory Kit

Storage: -SanDisk 128GB SATA 6.0GB/s 2.5-Inch 7mm Height Solid State Drive (SSD) With Read Up To 475MB/s- SDSSDP-128G-G25
-Seagate 1TB Desktop HDD SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5-Inch Internal Bare Drive

Motherboard: MSI ATX DDR3 2600 LGA 1150 Motherboards Z97-G45 GAMING

CPU cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120mm PWM Fan (RR-212E-20PK-R2)

Power Supply: Corsair Builder Series CX 600 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS (CX600)

Optical Drive: Samsung SATA 1.5 Gb-s Optical Drive, Black SH-224DB/BEBE

Also, is building a pc difficult? Im afraid that I might burn or break something and I've really worked hard to gather the money

Parts match.
PC Building is not hard, just time consuming.
IF something breaks just RMA it.
600 W is a bit small, should be fine as its a decent brand.

The most difficult thing is seating the cooler onto the CPU by far.
Damn clips can be a pain in the ass, but with LGA 1150 i think you'll be fine.
