I don't know what happened, was asking about an issue with Curtis dcr8339 not firing off...only says "hello" scrolling across display. Curtis techs. said it was a subscriber problem, but unit is making high pitched squeal from left side when powered off. I think it died....but not sure. I don't know why my last forum "thread' was pulled.. anyone advise?
