MSI GS70 factory restore after installing windows 10

Hi, I am planning to upgrade to windows 10 and right after that I want clean start so I want to do factory restore. But I had windows 8.1 preinstalled so I want to ask you if upgrading to windows 10 won´t corrupt that "backup" which is being loaded when I do factory restore. Will it keep default apps like MSI Dragon centre, steelseries keyboard app, killer network app when I do factory restore with windows 10? Thank you for answer

when you do a factory restore it will restore your windows 8.1. as far as I know there is no way to automatically restore drivers, settings and software only, but skip the OS.

the factory restore works because you have a recovery partition on your hard drive - its basically a backup image. its probably several gigabytes in size. I've never seen a manufacturer release updated recovery partition images.

so that means that I am stuck with windows 8.1.... shit...
