Can my graphics card handle 144hz monitor?

I want to get a 144hz monitor but im not sure if my computer can handle it, My graphics card is GTX 745 with 4GB DDR3 and I have an i5 processor.

For sure, you will not get 144 FPS with that graphics card, however unless the new monitor has a larger resolution, then you won't see any decrease either. With your current graphics card, it is unlikely that you were getting 60 FPS with your current monitor, so my advice is first upgrade your graphics card to something like a GTX 970 and maybe also the RAM to 8 GB and then consider getting a new monitor.
