How long will it take to install the 3gb W10 update?

I reserved the W10 update today, i thought i did a month ago but i failed. So how long will it take to download the 3gb update, cause it has been like 2 hours and i havent got nothing

Not all users who reserved Windows 10 will get it at the same. It depends on various factors including your internal hardware and your current OS. It is possible you could get it at any minute, but you may not get it for several days, or even weeks.

Well i think its about luck, i reserved Windows 10 on my laptop last week and i haven't got anything. however i reserved Windows 10 for my Desktop PC yesterday and i got a notification to download it.

Microsoft is releasing the upgrade in different phases, first to the insiders (those who have been using the preview builds), then to the people who have reserved a copy, then to the people who didn't reserve.

It wouldn't surprise me if it took anywhere between 1-2 weeks before it asks you to upgrade.

They're doing this so they don't overload there servers by having multiple millions of people downloading the upgrade at once.

don't think so, you will have to wait. or maybe find an iso from someone who got it, a friend? maybe someone will upload one this week. no idea
