Hello guys, so I'm new to overclocking and I want to try it, that being said I want to overclock my 970. I've been researching and I want to overclock it without touching core voltage as I'm new and people say you shouldn't mess with that stuff if you don't know what you're doing.
So I have a few question to ask you guys:
1. Will overclocking a GPU increase wattage consumpton by a lot?
2. Can I damage any other component when I overclock GPU ( example. motherboard )
This is my setup:
MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GD5T
AMD FX 8320
Gigabyte 970A-DS3P
FSP RAIDER 550W 80+ Silver
Thank you!
