How do I format a laptop hard drive as MBR when installing Windows 10?

I have a couple of laptops and they both have GPT files ystem. I want to do a clean install and format the drives at MBR and then have it install Win 10 with that file system but not sure how to do this. Can anyone help? Thanks.

I found this in another thread and I think it will work:

Well before re-installing windows I had to go into my BIOS before formatting my HDD and re-installing windows and find a setting that boots the windows install CD in UEFI mode, I DISABLED this (ie put it at bottom of boot order). After I did that I begun the windows install process, I pressed shift+f10 and typed the following into cmd:


diskpart
list disk
select disk 0
clean
convert mbr
create partition primary
select partition 1
format fs=ntfs quick

I guess I don't understand why people want to use an old, outdated MBR system when GPT is infinitely better.
