Youtube Sound Problems in Chrome with Win 10

I get crackling and stuttering when watching YT on Chrome in Win 10. Pandora, etc work fine.

MS edge works fine for Youtube.

Sound drivers seem to be a common problem. I would make sure your drivers are up to date and if so give it a few days to maybe a week or two for the problems to get ironed out before you start worrying.

I upgraded to Win 10, and my sound disapeared in google chrome. Sounds and music worked well in all other applications, including computer games and browsers.

After a great deal of uninstalling and reinstalling I found out that the problem was related to the Windows sound control. (Speaker at the lower right corner).
Sound was allowed for all other applications that google chrome. The solution was to click on the sound related to google chrome, and viola sound was restored.

There should not be a volume lever for Google in the Volume Mixer, it is run through Windows.

Be on the lookout for it to return. There is corruption somewhere.
