Windows Hello is not an option I can configure or setup on my Sign-in window! Please help!

Hi everyone, I have just recently installed Windows 10 and having great success and satisfaction with it. I was eager to get Windows Hello working but when I go to configure Sign-In options, Windows Hello is not present and I am unable to set it up.

I believe your PC needs to have either a webcam or a fingerprint reader for it to show up.

You have to have appropriate hardware and drivers in order to Windows Hello. You can use fingerprint readers and most of these will work. Or you can use a special camera. Regular webcams will not work.

Ah.

My test machine doesn't have a webcam at all, but it's an enterprise laptop with a fingerprint reader (though I'm surprised it has drivers at all), so I guess that's why I see the option.
