Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 performance on dual 1080 monitors?

How exactly would the Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming edition (single card not sli) perform when running games on dual 1080p 60Hz monitors for a final resolution of 3840x1080.
What kind of frames/settings would I be able to play in most games? Are there any benchmarks I can look at?

edit: (This is WITHOUT overclocking- of course in the future I will overclock the card for better werformance but I need to walk before I run. Reports show this particular card reaching 1.5GHz clock which is the same as a reference 980 I am not upgrading)

edit: My monitors are the Dell Ultrasharp u2414h and have very thin bezels so the black bar in the middle isn't going to be a hindrance for me.

So long as the black bar in the middle doesnt annoy you (it would drive me mad), it will run just fine, should get good frames in high or ultra settings depending on game.
