I was thinking of buying Windows 7 then upgrade but for now I can't get a product key so I have decide to run trial version Windows 7 64bit enterprise edition.

Is the trial version eligible for Win 10 upgrade?I'll have to get a key after 90day period so I would be getting Win 10 key.

Thanks

You need to wait to get that license from college, or buy one.

You are right Windows 7/8 enterprise editions are excluded from the upgrade it seems.
I have to wait a bit get it,In the meantime I could try win 10 enterprise editon for 90 days until I get the key as McHenryB

I tried to upgrade Windows 7 professional SP1 trial version and the Windows 10 Upgrade Assistant didn't allow me to upgrade. It said: You will need to activate Windows before upgrading.
